One of my horses, Freckles, just bit me! He gets super aggressive when it comes to food and I suppose he thought that I was taking his bucket away too early and he bit me in the back of the shoulder. Thank goodness I was wearing a sweatshirt. I swear that horse gets PMS. He's fine most of the time but sometimes he can really be a bit of a jerk! He'

I've always been kind of scared of being bitten by a horse when I'm near one.

He's not a chronic biter or anything, he just has some moody days and on those days you really have to watch out. Evidently yesterday was one of them!

We had one of those moody horses at the stable where I ride. But he was just moody in general. Damn good horse, but each time I had to ride him I spent most of the time fighting over who was actually in charge. He he.

I learned quickly that whenever brushing him, I should always be ready to push his head away and slap his neck and raise my voice to let him know he was not the boss and needed to start behaving. (He usually did behave, for like a monute or two.. he he)

LOL. Freckles is pretty well behaved under saddle but he likes to be in charge too. He has never tried to bite me before so I really don't know what got into him last night.
