[Feliks has somehow managed to turn on the video function of his Dreamberry entirely by accident and it's obvious he doesn't realize he has. He's clearly upset and mumbling things in Polish.]

This is like, seriously not good. This place is so not near my house or like, near Liet's.

[He isn't even looking at his Dreamberry and is instead looking all ( Read more... )

[Poland... was not exactly a country he was thrilled to see here in Somarium. Sure, there were worse countries out there, most of which were also here in Somarium, but there were only so many OH MY GAWDs and fashion complaints Austria could take at one time. That being said, Austria's not so rude as to let Poland go without speaking to him, and Hungary was relatively fond of Poland, as well, so...]

...Poland. Are you quite all right?

[Wait, a voice? It sounds familiar, but looking around, he doesn't see anybody. So where is the voice coming from? His eyes catch onto Austria's face in his Dreamberry. Magic?! There's subtle movements so this portrait is moving. Whoa what?!]

...Austria? How are you like, doing this? You're in the...thing I have. It's like magic or something.

Hey. Wait. Wait! It was you that kidnapped me! You totally used magic! It's the only way you could have kidnapped me! I'm like, so smart to have figured this out. Totally.

Anyway. Let me go and I won't like, beat you up and stuff. Tell me what you did with Liet too.

[This would be the second time this week people have accused him of being inside the dreamberry. He's not sure how this technology works (despite having been here for some time), but clearly anyone could tell that the dreamberry was nowhere near large enough for him to fit inside.]

I haven't the faintest idea what happened to... Lithuania, I believe you mean, and really, why on earth would I kidnap you, let alone bring you to some place as strange as this? I have far better things to do with my time, you know. Lastly, I do suggest you inspect this device more carefully; I certainly am not inside of it. It... is difficult to explain, but I assure you, I could not fit inside something this small.

[Austria isn't convincing him. Poland knows he's right. How couldn't he be? He's always right and so he's not going to change his mind anytime soon.]

Um, why wouldn't you kidnap me? I'm a totally awesome country and who doesn't want a part of me? Seriously. And you so know where Liet is because he can't leave my side and he's not here right now. If you kidnapped me, you totally know where he is. I'm not dumb. I'm like, really smart and stuff.

Oh and you could be inside this shiny thing with magic, duh? See? You're totally not fooling me.

Who are you trying to convince, your listeners or yourself?

[Wait, another voice?! And another person in the weird shiny thing? What is this?]

...I like, have no idea what you're talking about. I totally don't have to convince anybody.

[She's amused. She really is.]

That's because you didn't sound convincing at all in the first place.

Face it. You're in an unknown world, and you're scared.

[He is not. He's totally awesome and stuff and not weak so there's no way he's scared. No. Way.]

...Am not scared. I'm totally brave and I could like, beat anything.

...And what do you mean unknown world?

Why hello there home country! poet_of_piano January 13 2010, 23:19:54 UTC
[To be perfectly honest, Frederic had heard so many of these broadcasts during his stay in Somarium that he had gotten to the point where he didn't try to respond to too many of them...

But then he heard the man speaking in a language he knew all too well.

The man stopped in his tracks he felt a swell of the homesickness that he had come to know intimately throughout his life, ever since he realized that he would never return to his cherished home in Warsaw. The composer took a deep breath before he finally got his dreamberry out of his pocket, not bothering to look at the name of whoever was broadcasting yet. He hesitated for a moment, having a hard time thinking of just what to say after not coming into contact with a fellow Pole in so long, but in a soft voice, he finally decided to respond in Polish.]

It's all right. You haven't been kidnapped. There's no need to be afraid.

Hey, my Polish brother! freedomandrye January 13 2010, 23:41:52 UTC
[He'd been really scared, terrified even if he hadn't been showing it too obviously, but once he heard the Polish and the soft voice, he instantly felt better. He wasn't good around strangers, but this person was a Pole. If he couldn't trust his own people, who could he trust? His voice was quiet as he responded back.]

You're Polish. I...thanks for responding and stuff...

[He's not really the polite kind, definitely not the type to say thanks over something this small without being asked, but he does feel kind of grateful to have someone who he can relate to in his own language. It's really a comfort in this situation.]

And like, if I haven't been kidnapped, how am I here? I'm totally not easy to capture. Unless, you know, you use magic or you cheat or something.

Too bad Poland wont remember him, but at least they can be friendly! poet_of_piano January 13 2010, 23:58:00 UTC
Yes, I'm Polish.

[Frederic wasn't expecting a thank you, so it was nice to get one. He can understand how jarring it was, suddenly waking up in a completely different world. After all, he had been through it twice. It was also interesting, because he hadn't heard many speak like this person before, though he could still understand him.]

I'm not really sure why any of us are here, or how we came to be here. Assuming that this place may be magical might not be too far from the truth as well... As unbelievable as it is, this is not the world we came from.

[He paused for a moment, wanting to give the man a moment to process that information. He knew it definitely wasn't easy to hear.]

It's totally good to have one of my people to talk to. Seriously. I thought I'd be stuck talking to lame people, but now you're totally here! Sort of. You're in this shiny thing too.

Wait. We're not in the same world? You know, some scientists keep having these seriously crazy ideas about stuff like this, but...

[He's really confused now. He's just not much of an intellectual. Other worlds? That totally makes no sense. But the guy does seem like he knows what he's talking about and he is Polish. A Pole wouldn't lie. Not his people.]

...So...I wasn't kidnapped by Austria? I don't get this...

Poland! Oh, thank goodness you made it here!

[Is that...? It is. It totally is!]

Hungary?! Oh my--

I'm so happy you're here because like, ugh, I'm being some totally stupid and weird stuff. You've seriously got to have a laugh at this. Ready? Austria? He's telling me it's like, 1914. And that Russia? Has Liet. Haha! Hilarious, right? You've seriously got to fix him up because it's 1610 and Liet's been with me for a long time now!

[Poland, I don't think she's going to laugh.]

[As much as Hungary is estatic to see her bff Poland, her smile kind of fades]

W-well...As happy as I am to see you as well, it is 1914 from where Roderich and I are from. And as for Russia, that's true as well.

[Wait, what? Why isn't Hungary laughing too? Why isn't she agreeing with him? She's Hungary. She's his friend. Why...

He doesn't look amused anymore.]

No. Not you too, You totally can't be saying the same thing. Is this like, let's laugh at Poland day or something? Not funny.
