The equestrian competition in Kentucky started today!!! \o/ I adore watching them and so does my mother and my cat. Yes my cat watches horse shows. She's been laying in my spot all day watching it <3333333 It's the only thing on tv that interests her X3 Today is shaping up to be really good ^_^

That's awesome! I wish I could watch *sighs* It's been forever since I got to watch an equestrian show :/ (we don't have television) And it's been even longer since I got to go to one or participate T_T *wants that time back*

Sorry *hug* Participate? Do you mean that you ride? That is so cool. I haven't ridden a horse in faaar too long and I was only okay at it. I'm pretty good with barrel racing and okay at doing small jump cross counrty courses. There's a race track near where I live so I go and watch the races a lot. Sometimes if they're short handed I help wash down and feed the horses afterwords.

I did, in the past. I've had my own horse, my father was quite a famous show-jumper and dressage rider in Germany (not the *really* big shows, but most of the time he was really good in the ones one class below that) and my aunt does breed her own horses, is a riding teacher and a horse-psychologist (hard to explain XD) So I've always been around horses ^^
As for participating on my own... I've done some simple dressage and show-jumping shows. I was *planning* on more, but my father and my mother got into a nasty divorce with him refusing to pay for my horse anymore and my mother not able to. So I had to sell her T_T
Sadly I haven't ridden since I moved out with 18 T_T I soooo miss it *sighs* And now I wouldn't even be able to because I seriously need to lose some weight before I *ever* get on a horse again ^^;;
