If you want to go back a little further, during the "Tower of Babel" arc of JLA, Ra's al Ghul dug up Bruce's parents and dangled them over a Lazarus Pit, just to distract Batman. (They were in their coffins, of course; Ra's is always tasteful.) So basically, you're only in real trouble if you're a corpse and you know Batman.
