Been a while since I did any reviewin' and critiquin'. Just not in a pontificating mood, I guess.

Nevertheless, it's been a summer, and it's time to look back on the entertainment what's been had.

The clear winner of the summer would have to be Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, which hit every note I went in wanting to see perfectly. It was exactly

I won't pretend that the first season of Babylon 5 doesn't take... stamina. It's a lot of putting pawns and bishops on the board, if you take my meaning. Plus, there's several episodes, mostly written by people other than Straczynski (such as old school Trek stalwart DC Fontana) where they clearly didn't read the memo that they weren't doing Trek. But I think it's worth getting through it, because putting those pieces in places lets things really cook once Season 2 gets moving.
