I think it is good that you are strong. You are right your son deserves better then that. I know because my dad WAS in my life and it made me feel terrible, I am happy now he is gone. If all he will do is hurt your son and not be there for his needs then it is good to notice and take charge.

I think you are an amazing, strong person.
