I have only recently come to appreciate the full depth of meaning of that analogy.  Boy, is it dry here.  So dry the entire state should invest in a humidifier.  You don't  even want me to describe what's been coming out of my nose.  I now realize why the ancient Indian tribes opted to build in remote mountain canyons at the source of streams:
