If you've an RSS reader - and the most recent versions of Firefox come with one and can be upgraded with even better ones - then you can track updates to FrillyShirt here! I've added a link at the base of FS's main page, and each post has its own - you know, if you reaalllly want to see if anyone replies to your comments. I add to the Frederick ( Read more... )

I'm sorry, I tried to set up an RSS feed for LJ frillyshirt but it doesn't seem to have worked. It's having trouble with URL. Can you please confirm the one you have above? It's appearing as html on my reader.

Oh, thank you! Hrm, Firefox 2.0.0.4's Live Bookmarks reads it, but I'll look at what version Wordpress uses, so on, so on and see if I can tinker with it. Being no expert. Thanks so much, though!

I've a sneaking suspicion that it might be the version of RSS for the above link not being supported by LJ, plus I think WordPress's implementation of RSS 2.0 has some kinks in it (I fixed a few, but not all, myself.) Fortunately, I have .9 handy too - http://www.frillyshirt.org/wp-rss.php how does this one look?

LJ or FrillyShirt? Firefox in both cases, but the LJ design's a bit poor, I admit.

Hi thre! I did Accelerated History/Humanities, for about... oh.... how long was it? A couple of months. It was a good course - the Accelerated stream was very hard work, being a double load and all, but it was fairly invigorating. The history/humanities lecturers in particular were excellent, and the early placements system was useful. I only left because I decided secondary teaching as a whole wasn't for me - deciding to set my sights on the less immediately lucrative but more exciting world of academia.

You can get Centrelink while doing the MT, but if you really need time to work, the reduced load might be worth considering. Say hi to Dagmar for me in Humanities!

I'm applying for Honours in History at Melb now. Find out if I got in in less than two weeks - fingers crossed and all!
