My phone (my beautiful new $200 PURPLE z750 I got unlocked and had my cell phone charms on from Japan and an IIDX sticker i.e. THE PERFECT PHONE FOR ME that I planned to use for a long long time) got stolen tonight. From work. By a pervert who wanted me to do obscene things to get it back

And a couple of my friends who use T-Mobile said they were having trouble with texts tonight, too. They would take forever to get through, and sometimes they would send several times instead of once. I use Cingular, and I had no problems.

If a guy says he's in the parking lot and he has your phone, or he's coming in soon call the cops immediately. Or tell him you'll come out but you want to know what his car looks like >;) You know, stuff you don't think about when the situation is going on.
Also also, sometimes things do turn up. (My friend has a story about how her sisters car was stolen, and turned up later in better condition than it was before :D ) So I'll send hopeful thoughts in your direction.
