Hi Andre! I'm glad to read here that your week has been good, in spite of your sleep pattern being disrupted by Kirsten and Jake not being at home. It's good that you've got a German friend staying with you, though, and that explains why you didn't go to Spain with your wife and son. It's great that Mr German Man enjoyed fish and chips: that's something I like to have at least once when I come to the UK, in fact every time we visit my sister we get fish and chips one night while we're there. As for the jam, you're being modest about your own keyboard-playing again, because, even though you personally feel that Alex plays far better than you, the fact is that both of you play brilliantly together: the whole long long jam was very good, but, as you quite rightly say, the further along it got, the better it got, as you and Alex settled down to playing together. Here's hoping that you two will do more jams in the future! And here's hoping you'll do another radio show one of these days too, even if it's only to show of some of the ( ... )

I didn't listen to the jam very much but it was pretty good even in the beginning, although the warm-up feeling was quite noticeable. Playing the Rhodes seems to require some kind of really creative thinking and of course great chords as well, neither which at least I haven't got. Maybe it's just the same with the Hammond organ which I like to play and feel that my playing is somewhat acceptable on it.
