25th Note

The Network almost seems oddly quiet after yesterday...I don't know if it's because of the memory curse or some other reason, however. It's almost a little odd.

Regardless, it's a nice change from the normal flood of apologies after the curses. By all means, stay quiet. It's far too noisy around here, anyway.

don't need anyone, tick-tock, home is where you store your quills, not a good person (i'm fine with that), !curse aftermath, fresh air can kiss my ass, would you please be quiet?, snarky snark snark, rebelling against papa-vash

I'd gladly pay a call, once you're settled. But doesn't solitude bring out the ticking again?

I'd be happy to have you. You like tea, don't you?

I've heard about the ticking, but that doesn't sound so bad to me. The home I grew up in had a lot of clocks, so I'm used to the sound.

((OOC: Of course, the City being the City, it'll probably wear down on him after a month or so, but he's going to make a valiant effort. XD))

I do, of course. I'll have to bring something along for tea, then.

You've not heard it much, then? Perhaps if you're used to clocks it won't trouble you so much.

Good. I'm looking forward to it.

I haven't been alone too much since I came here. I stayed with Drosselmeyer when I first did, and soon after our...falling out, Vash took me into his home. I remember hearing it when I first arrived, and it didn't strike me as being too bothersome then.

I see nothing wrong with people apologizing when they feel guilty after a curse. The noise doesn't bother me either. The chatter of people is far more welcome than the ticking. The ticking...it was.... It is distressing.

If you need any help in moving, I would gladly help, Autor. Just let me know.

There's only so many times someone can apologize, though, and sometimes people really do get bothered by the littlest things. ...And if I may ask, what's so wrong about the ticking? At least it's a steady, predictable noise--it's not like the constant clamor of a crowd.

...Hm. One one hand, he's Rue's fiance. One the other...he's Drosselmeyer's character, and a prince.

...

I don't think I'll need too much help--I haven't really amassed that many posessions while I've been here--but I might need a little help with the furniture, so...perhaps, if you have any free time tomorrow, you could come help me with those?

You do pose a valid point of view, it bothers me not, though. The ticking, however, is such a lonely sound. It seems to amplify an eeriness when I'm alone. I much prefer being with friends or other people to that. But we are, of course, different.

Of course. I would be delighted to assist you, Autor.

The ticking's...eerie? My home back in Kinkan is full of clocks, and the ticking there never really bothered me much.

Alright then. I really don't have much, so it shouldn't take long.

Right. I can understand it for the particularly bad ones, but people overreact far too often. And then we're all forced to listen to it.

I wouldn't provoke them, that'd just make them louder. I simple, forceful request to be quiet is best, I believe.

Would you like help moving? I'd really like to get away from the opera house for a while.

Oh, well...I already have Mytho coming over tomorrow to help me move, but...I suppose we could use one more pair of hands, if you're free?

Unless you want to come over and help me move boxes back and forth today.
