Team uterus update

I had my monthly ultrasound today, and it was good. All my tests have come back normal, so we are low risk for flipper babies, and neural defects and so on. The baby looks less like an alien film extra all the time, though the doctor still likes to snap stills of weird things. Today we got still shots of the nostrils. LOL, I'm glad to see you're keeping a great sense of humour about the whole thing! That's a very good attitude to have.

Well, I hope you continue to feel better and better as time goes by, and that little Holmes will be a good baby, easy to care for as far as babies go.

Yeah, I wish I could tell you it will get better, but it's mostly just going to keep sucking until you deliver - the good part is that all that hurting and heartburn and everything goes away pretty much instantly once the baby's not occupying 7/8ths of your torso anymore ;) Glad to hear that tiny Holmes is doing well, and to learn that she's a girl!

Meh - its not really all *that* terrible. Generally the women in my family tend towards miserable pregnancies anyway, and then fast easy labors, so I am hoping that all this will be made up for when the time comes. I also blame the two months of bed rest for why things are so stiff and painy.
