Then preceded to attempt at finding a balance in the latest cheap coffee I bought, will not buy cheap coffee again, least not Arabica cheap coffee. I've discovered that I much prefer the gentle wood scents of Sumatra, Arabica smells like Starbucks.

While doing that, I managed to not really check facebook, so much as I responded to a message about

This was Publix store brand. It's not too bad and has a wonderful colour to it, but it might be the "caramel tones" it likes to talk about, that's driving me nuts. I'm used to drinking WF's Lahore Batak Sumatra roast and Caribou's Batak Sumatra roast. It has a nicer roast to it with a deep woodsy flavour, the two seem more compatible than caramel. Right now, I'm still trying to find the right mix. Last night I did a 1:1 mix, maybe 2:1 and it definitely brought out the caramel, had a nice colour to it. Today was a little bit lighter flavour with a dark colour. Wasn't too bad, but this is definitely something I'm not going to purchase often.
