Lex never called. There was no text-message, no e-mail not even smoke signals to let me know he'd gotten Chloe's message.
Chloe and I went to the building where I fought Titan, and found no sign that anything had ever happened. Titan's body is gone. Even the rubble from the fight was cleaned away. It's as though the fight never happened. Chloe is convinced Lex had something to do with the cleanup. She's probably right. I just wish he'd call or something. I miss him.
I'm stuck with Lois today. She's home. She's still bruised and has a fractured hand. That was her fault. She punched my chest. Luckily she'll recover. Until then, it seems like I'll never hear the end of it. Of course, she's been trying to get me to do everything for her today. I caught on right away that she was faking her total helplessness. Chloe's here now to take some of the burden away. I want to be anyplace else. I want to be with Lex.
The good news is only a few escaped criminals remain to be caught. The bad news is they're impossible to find now. They must have caught on to what I've been doing. I hope so, because I want them to know that I will find them and I will put them back where they belong. I want them to know that I won't let them run free to kill as they please.
Why hasn't Lex called? If he hasn't called in a few days maybe I'll give him a call.
