This is adorable and perfect and just - sneaky Natasha and not-so-sneaky Clint and Maria conspiring with her and the ring... Did they put it in a pear at random and hope that Clint would pick that particular one?

Hee, as far as the pears go, I have a feeling she or Maria arranged it so that the pear he took looks like the most important pear in the dish. Such a mindgame. Though, yeah, if Clint took the wrong pear, I imagine Natasha would've just retrieved it from Maria the next morning with a sigh and a "Plan D, then." Because you know this can't have been Plan A.
