Morgen früh gehen wir uns wieder Häuser anschauen, diesmal möglicherweise so viel wie neun am selben Tag. Die Immobilienmaklerin, mit der wir im August Kontakt hatten, hat uns eine Liste von 27 Häusern geschickt, die ungefähr unseren Voraussetzungen entsprechen, und Erik und ich haben uns die Fotos und Informationen dazu im Internet angesehen und

When I was 7 and my sister was 10, there was a very real chance that we were going to be moving to Munich, so my mom (who had studied German in high school, and I think in college as well, so was probably ~12-15 years out from when she'd last used the language) started trying to teach us basic grammar and vocab. It was actually quite helpful when we moved over here six years ago as I could then say very basic things whenever I went to Germany and what I remembered of German vocab helped with some of the Dutch. But I'm pleased to see that of the little bit we were taught and the even littler that I remember, that "Was ist das?" (something I remember very clearly!) is in fact correct! :)

Well, I think your first "what if" is pretty much a guaranteed....repairs will be needed. Just depends on exactly how soon, and then how big/expensive.
