It totally surprised me - the line "give me a few hours to say my goodbyes" seemed like a really natural "okay, here's another 20 strips to tie up a couple of loose ends before Digger (literally) rides off into the sunset". Not "That's all, folks!"

i kind of liked this fan-fic of what the characters would have done, in this writer's head.
still leaves a lot of loose ends, but it's well-written, and i like how it ties up the hyena story at least.

i miss shadowchild.

it was worth reading, though i don't know that i liked what sie did with it. I totally thought we'd at least see shadow again!

(And did we know that grim eyes is ed's daughter? or did that person make it up?)
