Drabble: Highlander100 Challenge - The Point of No Return (Caspian)
Caspian stared down at the corpse before him. It was already neatly taken apart. Limbs severed, gall bladder and intestines thrown away, the edible organs harvested.
As he started the campfire, Caspian couldn't stop wondering what it would taste like. The meat of a traitor. The meat of the man who'd betrayed his trust. He'd suffered. Now Caspian would make sure that nothing of him would see the afterlife.
He laughed as he sliced off the first bite of the meat and stuck it on his sword to roast it over the fire.
It was the first step into madness.
