Tools -> Options -> Tabs

You can fix it there.

There's no "Options" button

From the the Mozilla FAQ:

Set tabbed browsing preferences in Edit | Preferences | Navigator | Tabbed Browsing.

Yeah. Been there. There's nothing there to fix it.

Oh well. Fuck it. I just switched to Firefox and imported my bookmarks.

Yep, I know exactly what your talking about. As for helping you I have no idea since I never went and turned it off.
