Yeah, it's all just one coincidence. The "big skeleton dude" is just a psychopath who basically kills everybody he sees.

Also, it doesn't matter whether there is a curse or not, this way they are all gonna die together.

Of course I hope that Frank (or any other character - wait, Hare's dead already! Oh lament!) won't die, too!
Also, it would be kinda senseless for the comic to end that way because 1. Frank's the main character and 2. what would ElJay do without its mascot?

So, let's just hope for the best. *hopes*
