She's always finding new stuff for me to read; currently she's hooked me on Lois McMaster Bujold's space opera "Vorkosigan Saga". She started me out with _The Warrior's Apprentice_, which is not the first in internal chronological order, but is (I believe) the first book published, so lays the groundwork for the series.
I dunno what your tastes are, of course, but I'm also reading and enjoying Bendis' _Powers_ comics. I'm sort of a comics dilettante, so I dunno that what appears original and interesting to me in _Powers_ isn't ancient and cliched to, say, kickaha.
Sweet, thank you sir! At this point I'm just trying to find new authors to read, not just more of what I've been reading. So this list will help quite a lot, looks like. :D
