So yeah. I watched it last night too. Just the performance and the first documentary, about its final days. And I really lost it, like kind of sobbing, when Adam started crying at the end. I developed a crush on him throughout the documentary. Lol. Not surprisingly since I love all forms of Mark.
Guys and Dolls actually starts previews today. When I was there last month, the front of the theatre was still boarded, except the doorway to the box office. But even then, it looked strange because they cleared all the stuff off the brick above the marquee and, including the balcony.
I'm kind of glad that they didn't put in something I'm especially interested in seeing cause, well... the Neder was so homey to me, and as I put it so someone late night, it's like living somewhere and moving away, and coming back for a visit and there's someone else living there. I don't know how i"m going to feel going back and seeing something there. I'm, yes, really attached to the theatre itself.
Luther was Roger on the Canadian tour, so he is technically a former Roger. He's also a former Mark, thanks to touring.
I kept thinking that sort of thing when they were showing the outside of the theatre... That you really can't go back there, all of that stuff is truly gone...
Not really interested in seeing it either, I mean I like Craig Bierko (and even Oliver Platt), but I wouldn't travel to see them..
They had a lot of shots of people still sitting in their seats when the show was over crying, there were even some girls crying out in the hallway... I bawled just watching that..
