well, wouldnit that be cool to be the beautiful redhead! i am only too far away and a brunette or something along those lines. oh well, you can't have it all. i just read laura's journal and well, she hasn't lost her spice at all. in a good way, i promise! but i don't have much to tell, no little anecdotes and no stories about maggots. they ( Read more... )

ewww, you had to vacuum them out of your kitchen? VERY gross! my friend had a story about a guy who came into the emergency room complaining of pain under his arm...they lifted up his shirt and saw all these maggots crawling around under his armpit, he had an infected cut. EW. Anyway, I'm so happy you've officially joined nerds online everywhere! Now I can procrastinate even more...

This is Sam, sorry it took me so long to reply, I've been taking finals and what not.
I was born in the US, but I have duel citizenship with Switzerland. My mother comes from Bern, and thats where I lived when I was over there. Thus the Swiss German I know (which is not all that much to be honest)is mostly Bärndütsch, and a little bit from Basil.

hey, i just spent the weekend with a couple of berndütsch speakers...anyway, cool to know there are others with dual citzenship out there, always fun to hear about. and dont worry about the time thing...we all have our lives that have to go on, right?
