Miller's work on Batman..

Hey all, there's something that has always kinda bothered me and I wondered what you guys thought of it. Thing is, I've never understood why people tend to love The Dark Knight Returns and tend to hate All Star Batman & Robin. You don't have bad taste, man. A lot of people dote on DKR because it was an epic deconstruction of a mainstream superhero. So, when they see All-Star Batman and Robin, they think Miller has gone batty. When he's been through with revamping characters for quite some time, and has been writing satire since the late 90's.

I personally think All-Star Batman and Robin is hilarious, and it's up there with Dark Knight Returns, and Dark Knight Strikes again as the epitome of what a super hero comic should be. Fun, and a good read.

As for the Spirit, I think the majority of Spirit fans were far too harsh on the movie. There was plenty of homages to not only the likes of Ditko, but Eisner as well.
