So facebook is eating up my life. I've decided to only use facebook when sitting in front the TV, watching evening news with F. Let's see how long this stands. I have a gazillion personal things I want to work on but I let FB eat up all my life. It's a great news feed for me though (better than the bloody evening news, which I wouldn't be

Good news. FB is the LEAST rewarding of the time thieves. :)

It's probably my #1 radical news source (esp. on contentious things like Palestine) and clearly how I keep up with people I love dearly, so the rewards are not insignificant. But it is a bottomless pit for me, like LJ used to be (to the point where I had to segregate my friends list between "real friends" and "interesting people", and try to ignore the second).

Anyway, speaking of which, how's your writing coming along? :)

Twitter's become a good radical news source for me now, but indulgent and annoying enough that I can only take so much at a time, and therefore doesn't inhale my attention for too long. Lists on twitter are satisfying.
