I dunno, to me "creative" means a writer, or an artist, or an actor, or a director..or something related to creativity. I'm sure that Melinda Gates is all sorts of wonderful, but I don't think running a foundation, even running a foundation EXCEPTIONALLY WELL, has anything to do with genuine creativity....

i think you can ... and this is, in fact, how we choose to pursue new directions. for example, it may seem as if apple is creative because there are creative guys sitting in development, which is partially true. but a lot of it happens in market research, when the right questions are asked and good answers are obtained (from which we can see that customers prefer a touch screen to a round dial, for example, which is considered a major breakthrough in telecommunication devices).

and this type of creativity is not driven by so-called artists -- this creativity is business smarts.
