I don't think that that's from India, I know it from, um, Gillian or Visitors or something like that. So may not be accurate... dunno how many doctors she ran away from in her varied career...
Yep - I'm pretty sure EBD didn't give him a name (but could be wrong on that, however there is no Dr Hunter listed in the CS A-Z)
Carol Allan named him Dr Hunter when she referred to it in Gillian and then Priyadarshini Narendra renamed him as Dr Bettlesdon (which irritates me immensley)
Just had to delete comment and re-post as my italics didn't make sense!
Gillian no first name given and he plays a much lesser role - but I actually prefer this version as most of his behaviour is left to the imagination
Madge to Miss A "Jo treats him with barely concealed contempt and considers him to be the very worst type of arrogant, self-seeking young man. But, Hilda, he doesn't appear to notice; either that or he simply ignores it. And that gets Jo's goat even more. No matter what she says to him, and believe me, I have been present on occasion and have heard some of her bruising remarks, he keeps on trying. She is very fed up with him."
"If that is the case, can't Jem have a quiet word with him?"
"He has, several times. But that young man refuses to take the hint. Jem is most reluctant to take further action because his work cannot be faulted. Jo calls him 'Fortune Hunter', and I'm beginning to think she may have a valid point. She's convinced that he is only chasing her because she is Jem's sister-in-law". Eventually Jo
