Another Palla, and Soleae (Roman veil & sandals)

I tasked myself with being as productive as possible to make up for the driving time there and back.

Thank you! That tart dish was given to me ages ago and I absolutely love it. I hardly ever use my pyrex pie pan because this one is so great to cook in. I have a cool set of 6 custard cups that was also given to me which unfortunately I hardly use but I adore them just as much

I just love following your journal! You are so creative. BTW thanks for the outline. Wish I were in your area to take this class! I've been in the SCA for 28 years but I always like classes. I may not be able to do but I like to watch from the back.

Thank you!

I try to to put a lot of process content in this blog, even things that seem obvious to someone who has been in a while, so that those who are new to the SCA can get a feel for the entire process of doing a project.

I sometimes feel very self conscious putting in things I'm not sure about, aside from the risk of looking stupid, it's also because I don't want to lead anyone else astray. Despite this, I post because I feel like it is important for people to know that sometimes you do guess-work until you can come across better information. There is also the added benefit that another set of eyes never hurts.

Grinning. I'm not new. I've been in the SCA since 1981.

I had thought they would be gone, I just happened by on the right day. All the other color combos sold out on the first markdown.
