Okay, so school has started and I have barely had a chance to sit long enough to enjoy a cup of coffee before it becomes cold...  and I most certainly haven't had time to stay in touch here on LJ.  BUT, I am posting this little rant...  just to get it off my chest.

I love kids.  they are just so honest and innocent....

Aaaww... oh the poor kid...

Give him an extra hug for me, okay??

Little kids can, indeed, be cruel. I truly hope these little girls outgrow this...

Oh I'm sure they'll outgrow it by next week! Lols.... it was the way he looked up at me and ask if he'd done something wrong... it broke my heart. He was just so confused by it all because he had no idea why, and he'd been struggling with it in his little head to figure out what happened.

The fact that there was no real reason for it just makes it that much more confusing to a 5-year-old.

*shrugs*... no biggie. They have a PA day today and no school on Monday so by that time it'll all be forgotten.

no kidding. I wish I could tell him that those things don't happen when you grow up but the sad truth is that it gets worst I think.

Awwww poor little guy. Hugs from me too!! My niece's son just turned three and we were talking about how we'd like to just keep him safe from the world forever. That would be nice. I wish we could. :)

OMG... I can't tell you how many times I've thought of home-schooling. I'd never do such a thing because I think kids need to be in the school system and in a structured environment, but OMG! I just hate not being able to be there to shield them from stuff like that.

it's part of life though, and they have to learn how to live with it because it will always be there..... at school, in hockey, in the playground, at work, in the retirement home.....

part of life.
