We planted a vegetable garden this spring. I must admit, it wasn’t my greatest effort and it shows. I have a few tomatoes growing but they don’t seem to be ripening at all so I haven’t picked them yet. at least you got stuff to grow! that's something.

bunkbeds!! yay for that! those are so much fun. my brother and i had those when we were little.

There is that I suppose... but I was hoping for a little more.

Oh well... next year I'll do it right! I'll also put up a little fence around it to keep the princess out (assuming she's still with us next summer...)

Yes I do. That's why it saddens me to have to get the gun and shoot him... LOLs.

He got home from Walmart about an hour ago... with A LOT more than one thing each for the boys. He go them like 4 cars from cars 2, the spy plane from cars 2 and a big truck and trailer and 2 racing cars.... my kids are very spoiled!

you could always, if you've not already given them to the boys, put a couple away for Christmas... it's coming up. *G*

Naw.... Chris was waaay too excited about giving them to the boys to do that. He's really just a kid himself ya know.

When I asked him why he bought so much he said
"But they were just a few bucks a piece! I figured, "What the hell!"
I was like: "but the boys don't understand that!."

Oh well, they DID give away a bunch of their toys today and neither one of them fussed about it at all so....

LOL I love your updates, they crack me up. In this case especially the bit about the kid at the gas station. :D

Don't be discouraged by the zucchini - they take freakin' AGES. I've no idea why. Silly things.

Thank Hun, it's nice to hear that you enjoy them.

As for the Zucchini. I'll be patient I guess.... it's not like the zucchini is giving me any choice anyway. LOL
