I'm not always rainbows and glitter and puppies! It does make a lovely change for you to write that way though. I could get used to it. ♥
I love Mr Carson saying 'what the Dickens'. I love when you toss in things like that. Clever enough that we remember the time and the tone, but just tiny enough or too 'in your face' so that we want to roll our eyes.
And was that egg in her hair? LMAO. Elsie can't cook! I hadn't really thought about her lack of skills in the kitchen due to having a cook and a cook's maid etc to do all that type of thing. I'll have to change that bloody retirement fic idea now! Hee.
"You never do! Who doesn't like cake?" Again, you have Elsie down pat.

Unfortunately I can never top Mrs Patmore's canon "What in Wonderland".

But you know the practicalities are one on my fanfic niches, like office romance is yours. (As long as I do mine half as well as you do yours.)

She just needs to take some lessons, is all.

Don't think I didn't notice a couple of yours took place in offices, too, Ms. Caprica Times.

Funny, that. And they were adorable--gotta love a man who'll clean up your kitchen after you've trashed it!

My fantasy man. Especially since the one I had worked as a professional chef -- and they never clean up after themselves.
