Another entry in the ar_drabbles sequel challenge.
This takes up two scenes from where bsg_aussiegirl left The Lady and the Commander, because I'm not letting her have a free ride on the smut. Poor Commander Adama's been waiting for over four months. If you like the story below, please let Aussie know that she should relieve the poor man and let him do something about his state, OK?
Their passions sated he dismounted, pulling her to her side. She studied his face for no small time and laughed.
"It is my fervent hope, Lady Laura, that you laugh with me and not at me."
"I am not certain, Commander. I think it a mercy we cannot see ourselves in the moments we take our pleasure."
"You find me humorous?"
"I find you -- compelling. Your visage changes so rapidly I cannot tell if you are disenchanted or merely satiated."
"There is nothing 'merely' about satiation. I am puzzled, though, why you think the enchantment you hold over me has lessened in any degree."
"Men of my acquaintance come unmanned at the notion of a female seeking pleasure in their coupling. Despite the intimacies we have exchanged, Commander, I do not know if the emotions I see fleeting across your face are of a similar bent."
"Though you have admitted to a range of -- acquaintances -- I shall permit myself to infer they were men in form but not in spirit. Were they truly men, they would have found their own pleasure much enhanced by your own."
"As was yours?" she challenged him.
He ghosted a hand over the swell of her bosom, astonished to find himself hard once again. "You speak of carnal pleasures, my lady. In that I believe men and women equals. But in other matters…"
"Ah, you are one of those. You had promised we would be equals on this journey, but now that I've taken you to my bed --"
"In truth, I have taken you to mine." He pulled her body close; correcting her was strangely arousing.
"Will you follow my orders?"
"On this mission, aye, if they be reasonable."
"And in Cupid's grove?"
"I would follow you to Hades and back."
