Buffy awoke gradually, instinctively reaching over to feel for the person she knew had been there before she fell asleep. But, she reached over to feel only the sheets; just an empty spot. She sat up with a start, having a terrible sudden flashback to the last time she awoke after spending the night with Angel. Of course, this time they hadn't exactly done anything. But, still... It would have been nice to see him first thing in the morning.
She sighed, reaching up to smooth her ridiculously pillow creased hair and stared at the unoccupied spot beside her, which was still wrinkled from him. She wondered how long he stayed. Maybe he just waited until she was asleep before sneaking out. But, she felt him there for longer than that. And it was the reason she slept so soundly, despite the millions of things clouding her mind

A man with less than Gunn's comfort in his own sexuality and masculinity might be worried about sharing a bed with a Chihuahua. Not Gunn, though. Nope, when he had passed out last night (in the bed, not in the lobby after talking to Cordy and Wes), the tiny dog had been snug in the crook of his bent leg. While Gunn hadn't moved during the night, it seemed that Galactus had gotten a little antsy. He had decided that the quickest way to wake Gunn up in order to be taken out to the bathroom and be fed was to lick Gunn in the face until he came back to the world

It was nice. Sleeping in a bed in a cush room. It had been a LONG while since Faith had slept in anything like this. Probably the last time she was able to really enjoy the room she slept in was when she was with Wilkins. He had set her up in a pretty sweet apartment in Sunnydale. From there, however, it was downhill
