Confused, Wesley looked up as Gunn entered the office. Angel's office really, but Wesley spend most of the time in there. Which really had nothing to do with the fact that Angel seemed to be sleeping his unlife away lately, but more with the fact that there was room for the ever growing library Wesley seemed to accumulate. And as he assured Cordelia and Gunn daily, yes they needed all these books ( ... )

Gunn had already started thinking of this office as Wes's. He hadn't really seen Angel use it much, and now Wes was more running things than Angel was, what with his vampire sleeping sickness or whatever was going on there. It was covered with all of Wes's books and stuff anyway, so at least someone made use of it after they had all spent time to clean the place up. The only room Angel was using lately was his bedroom ( ... )

"Walking?" Wesley gave Gunn a puzzled look before glancing at the dogs. A frown formed on his face while his brain tried to adjust from the difficult research he'd been doing - and damn he'd been so close to a break through! - to something as simple as 'walking the dogs'. At least it sounded as a simple thing to Wesley. Didn't dogs need leashed though? Did they bring those with them? Maybe not as simple as he thought then? Goodness ( ... )

"Yeah, walking. You know, in hopes of preventing the dogs from using Cordy's shoes as a bathroom?" Yeah, dogs will do that sometimes, especially little vindictive ones. "I'd rather not suffer a death by Cordy because an animal ruined a pair of her precious shoes." He still didn't understand what the deal was about shoes. They covered your feet. Who cared what they looked like ( ... )

The 'thank you' for rescuing him from being dragged all over the park got stuck in his throat with Gunn's last question. "Ah..." Damn. Gunn wasn't supposed to have heard that! Or maybe he was, Wesley wasn't certain any longer. He'd just said that to distract the girl from the obvious mistake she had made. The false assumption. Not that it had been the first time anyone - for reasons unbeknownst to Wesley - had made that particular assumption. Of course it was the first time with Gunn around. He's just blurted out the beautiful woman part for-- well obvious reasons ( ... )

Of course Wes would be shy about admitting who he had a crush on. And Gunn knew that it was a crush and not a relationship because of the way he blushed and the fact that, if he were in a relationship, he'd probably be singing it from the rooftops. He *knew* he would have heard of it from Cordelia by now if Wes was in a relationship. That woman knew everything about everyone ( ... )

His arm had been yanked out of his socket, Wesley was sure of that. Alright, maybe that was a bit of an over reaction, but it certainly felt that way! When Gunn came to his rescue, again, Wesley once again didn't get the chance to thank the man. Because the words coming out of his mouth this time rather hurt. As if Wesley would be the type to come up with some lame excuse to get out from under an uncomfortable conversation. Granted, he *had* been glad their conversation about this woman had been interrupted, but it hadn't been done by Wesley himself ( ... )

"Stereotypes have to come from somewhere," Gunn reminded Wes. Then he didn't want to talk about it at all, so Gunn decided not to really press it. "And women do flock around me. You should just come out with me one night and get to see it." Gunn knew how to pull the pretty ladies in. Of course, Wes would fit in at the parties that he went to like a sore thumb or something. Not really his fault, but a English white guy in a suit would just be bizarre to bring to a house party in his hood ( ... )
