I actually watched the Emmys just to see that bit. His speech was very simple and started off with "I feel like I'm living a character actor's dream. I flew out to Honolulu to do a guest spot for two episodes and four years later I'm standing here..." and was generally very nice and serious about it and thanked everyone and got off the stage before they had to wave him off.
HE TOTALLY DESERVED IT you know he's been up for this category every year he's been eligible, although I have no idea why he wasn't up for Best Guest Actor. HERE'S TO A WELL-EARNED WIN FOR SEASON SIX.
