I'm DYING because I was totally going to post an entry about how much I enjoyed this movie despite how everyone is vomiting all over it [I still might, and I really want to address your comment about sexiness as unfeminist when I've had a bit of time to think about it -- BANG.]. This is all so well-said, Abby!!

I also want to say, on the aesthetic guilty pleasure note: this movie's soundtrack fucking made it.

I would absolutely love to hear your thoughts, they are always amazeballs. You should do an entry, and we should also SET UP A SKYPE DATE so we can talk about this and also everything else in the world, ever.

I came home and immediately grabbed the soundtrack with my greedy little paws. Did you know a bunch of the songs are performed by Emily Browning? I will upload it if you haven't gotten it yet, it is fucking awesome.

Well, there you go. so do I, sometimes. I can usually find SOMETHING to love about any given movie, but I enjoyed the hell out of this one every step of the way.

Can I friend you? I found you through daisysusan's journal and I saw your Rose Tyler GIF (which actually happens to be from my favorite ep of the whole series) on her friend rec/ask you five questions post and thought 'maybe I should check this girl out' so I did. And you just blew me away with this review because this is EXACTLY what I thought about this movie and exactly what I thought about this movie. You articulated everything I couldn't put into words. You're amazing and I really hope we can be LJ friends.

Oh man, the icons. I am such an icon whore, it should probably be upsetting. But thank you! And your icons are damn awesome too. I have too many thoughts about movies. I just don't usually write them down unless the reviews happen to make me really indignant. Either way, I shall go add you now!

I'm Abby, and my favorite companion tends to change with the day, because honestly all the others are in a pretty solid tie. Today it's Martha, but I suspect tomorrow it will be Amy and most of the week it was River, and sometimes I just go off the deep end and decide it's someone from a totally different series.
