I just discovered (more specifically rediscovered) xckd too, as well as medium large http://www.drinkatwork.com/mediumlarge.html and the Comics Curmudgeon blog http://joshreads.com/. Oh, and http://marmadukeexplained.blogspot.com/. These combined served to get me through the post-Christmas and inevitable (luckily small) mom-insanity time of late December.

Sleep's been off for me too, with the result that dreams are better remembered. In one I was at Yearly Meeting (Quaker business session) with my dad, who wanted to bring up a concern. The clerk of the meeting asked with a sneer "is it on a mug?" and pointed to a whole slew of mugs in front of him, all emblazoned with phrases and logos of various causes (think Cafepress style), the implication being that if it wasn't on a mug it wasn't worth considering. Wonder where that came from.

Ha, that's a good dream. I was dreaming earlier about being on a plane but the runway had collapsed so it was a really rough take-off. Don't know what that's about. I'll have to check out those web comics, I seem to be really into them lately.
