[Sniper settles back on the couch, though at this point he's squinting just a bit and rubbing one temple absently.]

Kid showed up and declared "I am Gundam" and both Raise and I had instant heart failure. It was sort of amusing, though meeting the kid was a shock. And 'other half' -- bad way of phrasing, I was referring to Raise, though I've bumped into Praise too. He's a trip, I dunno how people manage him. So yeah, all four of us are over there, too.

[Bastet finally finds the place, having first scouted to make sure she wasn't walking into a combat situation.

Pounds on the door, yelling, pissed because Sniper's just sitting around seemingly relaxing while she's been out worried.]

[Sniper jumps about a MILE when he hears that thumping -- which promptly starts one hell of a headache ripping through his brain. He almost doubles over, wincing.]

[Her words are harsh, but her voice and hands are gentle as she takes his face in her hands, scanning him for injuries.]

[Bastet's eyes are wide with disbelief, as even the feel of his face beneath her hands is fading--not to mention he has the nerve to tell her not to be upset.]

[Sniper smiles faintly and reaches up to touch her hair, although it's not the firmest of contact right now.]

[That comment is directed at the other men in the room, before he looks over at Tieria.]

Couldn't explain it...don't you dare cry. You can remember.

[He looks back over at Bastet and mouths something before he fades right away from view, leaving his journal sitting where he was a moment ago.]

[Tieria tries to blink his tears away, even though one of them still slides down his face.]

[Bastet is staring blankly for a few seconds at the spot where Sniper was, before pulling out her own journal and comparing it to his pages. Writing appears on hers, but not his; so she knows he's really gone. When she finally speaks, her voice is flat and detached.]

There's always been a price for regaining memories or information about ourselves. When I met Unohana, the more she told me, my vision and hearing started fading, my chest hurt and I had trouble breathing. So we stopped.
