An Over-Reaction?

Okay - once again, I'm *really* glad I have an LJ, only because no one I know in reality knows my LJ account.

For some reason I can't post at the RL/ S-o-S topic, so I thought I would do it here. I'll Copy and paste it over later... but please, tell me what you think...

Bank Holiday Monday (yesterday) was the day of our annual family BBQ. The only ( Read more... )

Gosh - that's ... awful. I think if he does it again, you have to tell him flat out not to do it, it makes you uncomfortable ...
If you're REALLY concerned, I'd tell your mum.
As for creepy older guys working at petrol stations... hugging is probably not a good idea. Even if they do tell you you look "fit" (that's such a British-ism lol... here we say "hot")
Stay with the young'uns, sweety!!
(I hope everything's OK with you and your twin??)
xx

(And yes, FF is stuffing up apparently. I can get into the forums, but I haven't tried posting.... Here's my link, because that might help??

The thing about it all is that the BBQ only happens once a year, so I only see *everyone* once a year... so I wouldn't pass the oppertunity to go... but it still wigged me out... I mean... he's my Uncle.

At the same time though, am I over reacting?

I'm reluctant to say anything because I know something like that would tear our family apart, and it's not anything else happened - I got out of there...

lol - I agree... stay away from creepy older men...

Everything's fine betweeen me and her... it's more my dad and her. They had a massive argument last week that ended in violence. My dad threw a glass at her, then a glass ashtray and she damaged her foot. She's just come back from her boyfriends' house, so it's going to be tense for a little while.

Everything is starting to sound overly dramatic... maybe I need my head checked?

Well, I'd trust your judgment, then =) if you're not going to see him for another year, then perhaps letting it go is all right. If he ever does it again, just tell him to stop ... because how dare he put you in that position??

*sighs*

Things do sound a little tense, but things will sort themselves out, you know? With family, time tends to heal most things =) I think your head's fine, sweety. Sometimes, things just go a little nuts!
