There's a different style to this that I really love; very sensory, very embodied with emotion. Great job! Though “I’m pregnant,” her breath tastes bitter against his tongue. kind of stabbed me in the gut.

I love this, mostly because I can sympathize with wanting alliteration all over the place. But also because of:

“Right,” hands get shoved deep in his pockets as if it will hide what they’ve done.

and

He’s an upward roll of glassy eyes, a preventative swallow;..., I guess because it's such a good description of what he does at the end of Casino Night.

Yay :D:D And I just need to clarify; it's Roy's kid, right? Jim's not being a douchebag??

I love the risks you took with this since it's a departure from your usual style... and yet not? Somehow, your voice still comes through.

a glimpse of her clavicle would take him down like he was nothing.
You had me at this line because they're so freakin' Victorian in S2.
