If you have an obsession with orange/blue hues, then it is a very good obsession because these icons are lovely. Your image quality is absolutely perfect. I am in total awe. This whole post reminds me of two of my favorite icon making heroes, rhcp-csi and mali-marie because of the beautiful muted color and perfect sharpening. Thanks so much for sharing such an inspirational post :)

aww thank you. :) I've never heard of this iconmaker but I'll check out their stuff. I gotta admit I'm a bit obsessed with muted colors right now. it's really far from what I used to make but yeah, I am loving how they're turning out like this.

yeah we have drifted~ into different fandoms. why are we still friends? lol jk. I thought you liked Alcatraz? I'll make some Fringe and A-Tapps icons or something. sometimes caps/pics aren't available so I end up neglecting. xD

I love Alcatraz for shippy reasons and because I like to see what Rebecca Madsen is wearing (but you already know this!). :p the ratings are terrible tho so I'll probably not get another season of it. :(

LOL I've dropped 5 of those shows. I saw Smash's pilot and wasn't impressed. plus I remembered how much I have irrational hate for Katharine McPhee. also couldn't really get into New Girl but maybe I'll give that one another shot. ooh Cougar Town sounds like a great idea tho. confession btw. since I can't remember what you look like, every time I see Ellie, I imagine it's you. like always. xD but I think Cougar Town is better for gifs than icons cos they just have those amazing ridic moments in motion.

how do you feel about the finale? it fell kinda flat to me. I mean I like the show but I don't find the mystery as interesting as they made it out to be in the beginning. I want to believe maybe it's just like Fringe's first season; a little slow and maybe I just need to be patient waiting for it to find its own voice or something. :/ but I have a feeling we won't see a next season to see that happen. I need moaaaaar Emerson/Lucy!!!-_-

I loved the finale! It was more engaging to me that some of the others. I like the mystery so far. I mean now we know they sort of knew what was going on. But did THEY do it though or did they discover it, what it was that "jumped" the inmates. LIke. All we know is the inmates were sent all over the place, not just SF and someone is behind it and people involved in Alcatrqaz knew. The why/how etc isn't clear. BUT ALSO MY BB REBECCA NEEDS TO LIVE. I also love Emerson/Lucy and........don't laugh Jack Sylvane. I want him on the team and I ship him with Rebecca. I'm wondering if it has more of a chance now that a lot of Fox shows aren't doing well. I want to believe it'll get a s2 to flesh it out more. S1's a lot of the time are world-building and finding it's footing. I really like the characters so that's step one in being invested in the story.

I suppose it did have some reveals that piqued my interest but I felt like some of the things we saw were cheap ploys. like really Rebecca "died"? I think that was overdramatic. or maybe I'm bitter that they ended on a cliffhanger or something and I'm worried there's no more eps left!?:p at the same time, I guess I'm also a bit underwhelmed with the reveals. my theory is they were trying to create super soldiers cos I vaguely remember the show's creators mentioned finding interest in rumors that in the past, prisoners were being used as test subjects by the government. so that ties to what we saw altho I can't believe the whole thing about that door being too hard to open. that totally made me think of shit happening on LOST. lol. and if that is the case then I'll be severely pissed cos the latter show didn't really explain all that either. and Alcatraz can't do that to me again. =p that said, I hope you're right cos I think they need more eps to flesh out the storyline some more. I know the show is only doing 5 mil viewers per ep.
