[Phone/Filtered from the usual]
Well well, it seems like things are coming to a head. Ahh, but I wonder what would happen if we managed to keep our dear friend hidden until time runs out? His pursuers hardly seem fond of each other, so I wonder if they'll maintain the ability to work together if it becomes evident that things won't be so easy? Or ( Read more... )

[Theta is hastily building an air purifier out of car and vacuum parts and hoping it will be enough.]

I've heard talk of surrendering him...I was thinking if we might be rewarded for it it might be worth it, but if all they're going to do is kill what's in their way, we might as well play keep away...

Wouldn't want to set an example of being easily frightened, now would we~?

No. I would much rather be marked down as stubborn beyond measure.

*He teleports over to stand next to her.* As would I, my dear~

[He's just looking at the neighboring house, which happened to have been burnt to the ground.]

Indeed.

Albedo. Do you believe you and your twin would be able to hold the house by yourselves?

*He looks at Wilhelm with interest before teleporting over.* Of course. Have something in mind?

[For his part, Wilhelm isn't looking good. Not sickly, but his features are cooler then usual.]

I am not, you would say, a rather religious man, am I Albedo?

*He raises an eyebrow, wondering what has Wilhelm looking like that.* Certainly not...though I assume this relates to what you're thinking about?

Ah, so I'm not the only one whose morbid curiosity is getting the better of me. How much farther will they go in their desperation? It's fascinating.

Oh, quite~ They seem to be reaching the edge of what would be effective in doing anything but creating uncertainty for themselves if you ask me.

I'm beginning to wonder if turning in the Russian man would be the best course of action now. After all, there's so much to be gained from observing our captors in a moment of weakness.

And there's much to be said for making a point of not being easy to sway.

This would intrigue you, as compared to scare you, wouldn't it, Albedo?

What would one such as I have to fear from this situation?

True, even closer to human than you have been, you can't really die even here, can you?

*Albedo will be appearing near the car in a flash of white light, missing his left arm and right leg yet still managing to stay upright.* Well, this hardly seems like one of my usual guests.

[Joshua rolls down the window and pokes his head out.]

Unusual, perhaps, but I assure you he'll behave himself, hee hee.

By the way, as a bit of advice from one player to another - I'd recommend not broadcasting to the whole town when you try looking for another person to pass the potato on to. It's likely that not all of the players in this little game are working for the same side.
