I'd be really intereted in shifting the line lenght to look for visual patterns.

I'm pretty confident that there are no systematic patterns to be seen here.

I think that every possible pattern can be found in the digits of pi eventually. Some websites search for your name in pi.

thats what they said about chaotic systems until it was plotted in the right number of dimensions and fractals were discovered.....pi can't be completely random otherwise you get a repeating digit beyond which it will have to continuialy repeat forever, so far that hasn't been found.

that would make it non-random.

But of course pi isn't random. I can write a small program to predict every digit. I'm just saying that its expansion in any basis will look random.
