Well, after the side-job I did starting on Friday at 1pm and ending Saturday afternoon about 2pm (yay for my hourly rate!) So I'm here on a side-job for a company downtown. They tried to do something on their Exchange 2003 server that really (and I mean *REALLY*) hosed up their exchange server. The main mailstore (all 60 gigs of it) wouldn't mount and wasn't recognized by the system ( Read more... )

Heaven on Seven does their occasional "Hot as a Mutha" dinner, which is basically the chefs having some fun, making up great meals that aren't even on the menu, and generally torturing the customers by burning their tongues off.    ;-)    As I love spicy and exotic food anyway, I was thrilled to go and really very impressed at the meal as a whole ( Read more... )

I could hear them all except the last, highest one - and even then I thought maybe..  Yes, I'm a freak when it comes to hearing.  Stuff sometimes really hurts my ears like bars, loud restaurants and sharp noises.    I also hear high pitched squeals from some TVs, computers, and my old cellphone, too.

A review of OddCon would mostly describe how relaxing it was, especially compared to the relative chaos of Capricon or Windycon in Chicago.  There was a max number quoted to me of 350 at this con.  The hotel was fairly small, but well suited to this group ( Read more... )
