[Hayley's face scrunched together in feigned distaste at the idea. The clothes weren't easy or comfortable, but she didn't really care what she wore if it served the same purpose. Still, a smile slid onto her lips, the kind that might look like she couldn't contain it, but which was mostly a natural reaction.]
It's too bad I can't go shopping in Flotsopolis, assuming we can even get back there. Maybe I'll have to try some of your clothes. [She murmured with that hint of something more, knowing he would rebuff it as always.]
You're stuffy in it. You don't think I could pull it off? [She purred, brushing along his shoulder to head toward the front of the ship in a slow and deliberate manner, encouraging him to follow.] You should try a t-shirt sometime. You might totally love it.
[He took the cue and followed her toward the front of the ship.] Hm. Maybe. I used to wear t-shirts, back when I was young and reckless. I used to skateboard, too.
You? Skateboarding? [She laughed quietly, keeping their voices low given that they were talking about things not appropriate to the age or the ship.] I don't know that I believe that. I might have to see pictures.
[Hayley turned around to face him, walking backward for a moment and then spinning around forward again.] I can't really picture you as the skateboarding type. Any other secret hobbies I should know about?
[She laughed, impressed and not mocking.] You might have to teach me. I used to watch my uncle in the dark room before he moved, but I never really learned.
I don't know. I hope not. I'm... going to try to talk to the captain. Someone. Anyone who will listen about the iceberg.
