But I actually had an alternate/continuation of the epilogue that I decided against doing where Jin becomes human.

I have to say I really liked the reason why Jin choose to stay a few more days with Kazu. In Kazus next live would he proberbly have fallen in love with someone else and would have left Ji lonely, but like this it seems to me as if it is kinda like a happyend! So peacefull and sad! I really love this fic, it somehow calmed me down ones I read it! ^-^
