Yes. I noticed the sudden increase in posts which is worrying. Unfortunately most people have no clue about copyright.

Sadly, I'm not entirely sure it's a recent influx, just that people are looking again. I mean, my story was plagiarized back in May and I only just found it now. I didn't start looking until Armith-Greenleaf found her stories plagiarized.

I didn't really pay much attention to the dates all that much (all I did was look at them to be sure that the story was posted after the original) since I was tired and too disgusted at all of the sudden posts about plagiarism to pay closer attention. But, looking at them today with a clearer head, the story was posted between 2008 and 2009, so it has been around for awhile.

It's a domino effect. Once one person finds a case, it leads to other authors looking for cases... It's actually really sad :(
