Well, the reason why you probably had a bit of a problem getting into the fic is because you've read Blended and Blessed and a few things have been repeated in Silence = Death. There was a reason behind this and even though I know that some readers might have similar feelings about this, I had to choose between repeating things and maybe losing new readers who hadn't read BB.

I feared that if I said "Well, before you can read this 55k fic, you first have to read another 23k fic" I'd loose a lot of potential readers. Repeating some info seemed like the lesser evil to me.
