Hey what's with all these FTAIRS

Ftairs is a joke related to House of Leaves. There's a chapter in which "stairs" is written as "ftairs" due to Johnny Truant misunderstanding that older printing presses often used "f" to represent "s". Ergo, "ftairs!"

There is indeed a sequence in HoL in which someone is FUCK falling down all these FTAIRS

Ironically one of the fencing styles I don't actually know very well (I can do foil and some forms of Japanese fencing lol.)

So I went to the Barns & Noble by my place today to pick up a copy of House of Leaves. This story would end with an "I blame you" right here, except when getting my coffee (wearing my Feferi shirt) right before that, my total came up to $4.13.

Yes! ... It was the only copy they had available and my birthday is tomorrow so I figured I'd splurge as a present to myself. (I am weak vs. books with fancy font tricks in it, CURSE YOU NEVERENDING STORY.)

Oh good! Earlier versions didn't include all the font tricks for cost reasons; that one, however, does.

AND OMFG YOU ACTUALLY KNOW THE BOOK VERSION OF NEVERENDING STORY I thought I was the only one :/ most people only know the movie.
