A new fic (beware! very grim)

While re-reading BJH's rather wonderful fic A Fairy Tale Ending (http://www.fictionalley.org/authors/bjh/AFTE01a.html), I was bitten by a strange plot bunny. I thought of a particular character's grim and lonely death at the hands of the Death Eaters, which was as

I wouldn't say it's grim, just gory. Percy is brave, meets a horrible end, but then comes through it to eternal joy, and meanwhile, Bellatrix is having doubts. That doesn't seem so grim.

But torture is extremely scary, horrible, and hard to read about, I do grant you.

This was a very moving story. It did make me cry in compassion but the piece

"And the One looked on him and there was glory in His looking, glory freely given and beyond all merit.

WELL DONE, YOU GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT. YOU HAVE BEEN FAITHFUL IN SMALL THINGS, YOU SHALL BE REWARDED IN GREAT THINGS. ENTER INTO THE JOY OF YOUR LORD."

made it very uplifting and true, as did the last sentence.
